People ask me why I love the “country” so much! To be honest, I didn’t always… After all I am a city boy – well at least I was born one. Once you experience what country living can offer you and how it can change your outlook at things in a very unique way it is hard to fall out of love with the country.
Here are a few random shots from some of our thousands of trips to the country side of West Virginia: An abounded farm house from the 1800′s makes you wonder what did the people who once lived there use to grow, where did they first immigrate to rural America from, were they German or Irish descent like most of WV’s first settlers and where are their descendents now. Country roads wouldn’t be complete without its curvy and single lane dirt roads which can go on and on for miles and miles! farm equipment left to rust next to the road and dynamic skies over the ever changing hills… This is just a few of many reasons why I like the country so much. Do I need more reasons?
