There are many Turkish food items that I am not able to easily find here in USA. Here are some of my favorites, which I was lucky enough to find in two different Turkish stores (Atilla’s and Amity Markets) located in Northern Virginia.
1- Green Plums (Yesil Erik)
2- Lahmacun (Turkish Ground Beef Pizza)
3- Gazoz (Carbonated Drink, a very similar taste to old soda fountains)
4- Ayran (Ooo! I know most won’t like it, but it is a Yogurt, Water and Salt mixture)
and last but not least
5- Cipura (Best tasting Mediterranean fish, fresh from the Aegean)
